President Bidya Devi Bhandari would offer Dashain Tika to members of the public on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami festival, on coming Tuesday, October 11.
Issuing a press statement, the President’s Office said Bhandari would be offering Tika to chiefs of state organs and constitutional bodies, ministers, lawmakers and other dignitaries from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the day.Likewise, members of the public interested to receive the Tika from the Head of the State have been invited to the Sheetal Niwas from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm the same day.The Gate Number One of the Sheetal Niwas would be opened for them, according to the statement.The Head of the State traditionally has been offering Dashain Tika to leaders, officials and interested members of the public for decades.
