२९ कात्तिक । आज चन्द्रमा पृथ्वीको सबैभन्दा नजिक आउने भएको छ । पछिल्लो ६८ वर्षमा चन्द्रमा पृथ्वीको सबैभन्दा नजिक आउन लागेको हो । नेपाली समय अनुसार आज बेलुका पाँच बजेर ६ मिनेट जाँदा चन्द्रमा पृथ्वीको सबैभन्दानजिक आउने छ । त्यसबेला चन्द्रमा पृथ्वीबाट तीन लाख ५६ हजार पाँच सय ९ किलो मिटर पर हुनेछ ।

सन् १९४८ पछि चन्द्रमा पृथ्वीको सबैभन्दा नजिक आउन लागेको हो । नियमित पूर्णिमामा भन्दा आज चन्द्रमाको आकार १४ प्रतिशतले ठूलो देखिने छ । अरु पूर्णिमामा भन्दा ३० प्रतिशत बढी चम्किलो पनि हुनेछ । यस्तै दृष्यका लागि अब सन् २०३४ को नोभेम्बर २५ सम्म कुर्नुपर्ने खगोलविदहरुले जनाएका छन् ।
